The Book

Speaking Computer is about learning a foreign language and culture called computers. It describes the abstract world of technology in familiar human terms. By using colorful metaphors, pop culture references, and real life examples, it explains many fundamental computing ideas.

The Bio

Scott Shui is your friendly neighborhood technologist. He was the one friends and coworkers would ask about their computer instead of calling technical support. Although Scott secretly does not like computers, he hates it even more when they are slow, broken, or confusing.
